The industry standard for fine jewellery. 18K gold is 75% pure gold alloyed with copper, silver, or palladium for strength. It holds its colour exceptionally well, is less likely to cause skin reactions than lower karats, and is ideal for rings and bangles that get daily wear.
Traditional in Indian jewellery, 22K gold has a richer, deeper colour than 18K. Because it's softer, it works beautifully for detailed temple-style jewellery, bangles, and necklaces worn on special occasions. We hallmark all 22K pieces under BIS standards.
Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper for durability. It's the most affordable precious metal we work with and is perfect for everyday, casual jewellery. Silver does tarnish with exposure to air — simple cleaning restores its brilliance.
Natural diamonds form over billions of years under intense pressure. Every stone we source is certified by IGI or GIA and carries a unique fingerprint. They carry sentimental weight, long-term value, and unmatched brilliance. Each stone is individually graded for Cut, Clarity, Colour, and Carat.
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds — same crystal structure, same optical properties, same hardness as mined stones. They are produced in a controlled environment using CVD or HPHT processes, certified by IGI, and cost 40–60% less than comparable natural diamonds. Visually indistinguishable even to gemologists.
Moissanite was originally discovered in a meteorite crater. Today it is lab-grown from silicon carbide and offers more fire (rainbow sparkle) than a diamond. It is the most affordable stone option at Kalv Jewels, making it ideal for large, statement pieces without the cost of diamond.
